Biography

Trisha Turner is a Certified Research Administrator (CRA) with 8+ years of experience at Indiana University in Research Administration, more than 10 years in contract and grant management and oversight, and 3 years’ experience as a founder and administrator of a public charter school corporation / non-profit. She received her BS in Business Administration from Indiana Wesleyan in 2013.  As a program manager of the Center for Cannabis, Cannabinoids, and Addiction, she oversees all administrative Center-related activities from finances to animal importation to website development and maintenance.  Having been born and raised in Southern Indiana, Trisha has seen the devastation that drug abuse and addiction has caused close to home; she believes that working with C3A gives her an opportunity to do her part in accomplishing the research that may drive real change in addiction.

Trisha lives on a mini farm with her husband, Ryan, son, Maxwell, goats, cats, kittens, and dogs.  She enjoys fiber crafts like knitting and cross-stitch, gardening, reading, and writing what may turn out to be her autobiography someday.
